Floral and silletera tradition in the town of Santa Elena

Although the flower farms of Santa Elena are primarily visited during the Flower Festival, this memorable experience can be enjoyed year-round and is one of the most traditional aspects of Antioquian culture. At these farms, visitors can closely observe the process by which Santa Elena families cultivate the flowers and create the flower arrangements they proudly display in the Flower Parade.

It is also possible to enjoy folkloric displays from the region, its mountain cuisine, and typical gardens full of flowers and medicinal plants.

Shopping at Via Primavera!

We proudly say that if London has Oxford Street and Paris has Avenue Montaigne, in Medellín we have Vía Primavera.

Here, our visitors fall in love with the local talent of our designers and entrepreneurs, enjoy exquisite dishes from around the world, share the smoothest coffee in the world, and experience a combination of shopping and gastronomy in the characteristic natural and welcoming environment of this urban space.

Discover the largest flower garden in Medellín in the Moravia neighborhood.

In the northeast of the city is a community traditionally made up of displaced families who built their homes on the old municipal garbage dump, now transformed into one of the largest flower gardens in the city: the Moravia neighborhood, a benchmark for community tourism in Medellín.

There, through a guided tour led by a community leader, you can walk along the flower-filled path that leads to the hill to enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the city, while learning about the history of one of the places that best represent resilience in Medellín.

Indulge in the aromas of the world's smoothest coffee.

In addition to the city's countless cafes offering a cup of Colombia's quintessential product, characterized by its smoothness, Medellín is a place to visit farms and estates to learn about the entire coffee process: cultivation, harvesting, aromas, and properties; as well as appreciating one of the world's most famous coffees through smell and taste.
