Visitor policy

For the purposes of this policy, the "lead guest" is the person whose name appears on the booking and who is financially responsible for the booking and any additional expenses. A "guest" is a person who checks in with the lead guest and plans to stay for the majority of the stay. A "visitor" is a person who checks in later during the booking and does not stay for the entire duration of the stay.

According to Colombian law, specifically Article 17 of Law 679 of 2011, unregistered guests, unregistered visitors, and minors under 18 years of age (unless accompanied by their parents) are not permitted in hotel rooms. The only acceptable forms of identification for check-in are a physical passport or a physical Colombian national identity card. Digital or paper copies are not accepted. Passwords and police reports for lost identification are not accepted.

If the total number of guests and visitors exceeds the maximum number of the reservation, a charge of COP 120,000 per calendar day per additional person will be applied.

In our computer system, the calendar day begins at midnight (12:00 AM).

Each registered guest in the room may change the name of one visitor per day, free of charge, without exceeding the maximum number allowed on the reservation. Each additional visitor, beyond one per day per registered guest, will incur a nominal charge of COP 120,000. Charges for additional visitors or guests can only be applied to the room. However, upon departure, any portion of the bill may be paid in cash.

Example A): If a primary guest books a single room with double occupancy, they may have one visitor per calendar day at no extra charge.Example B): If a primary guest books a 3-bedroom apartment that sleeps six, but is occupied by 3 guests, each guest may register one visitor per calendar day, up to a maximum of 3 visitors, at no extra charge.Example C): If a primary guest books a 3-bedroom apartment that sleeps six, but is occupied by 4 guests, each guest may register one visitor per calendar day, up to a maximum of 2 visitors, at no extra charge.

Example B): If a primary guest books a 3-bedroom apartment that sleeps six, but is occupied by 3 guests, each guest may register one visitor per calendar day, up to a maximum of 3 visitors, at no extra charge.

Example C): If a primary guest books a 3-bedroom apartment that sleeps six, but is occupied by 4 guests, each guest may register one visitor per calendar day, up to a maximum of 2 visitors, at no extra charge.

Any unregistered guest or visitor who enters a room without informing reception would be breaking Colombian law and would incur an automatic charge of 300,000 COP and the possible cancellation of the reservation without refund.
